A. T. Geissenhainer was a well-known Lutheran liturgical scholar and planter of many congregations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Among other charges he served St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Wurtemburg in Rhinebeck, New York from June 8, 1838-July 1840.
