Der Hof Langschede gehörte zum kurf. kölnischen Hof zu Menden. – Elsa Langschede, die Tochter des Johann Langschede zu Wimbern, begab sich am 5.8.1591 vor dem Hofrichter Adolf Homberg in Menden, in die Leibeigenschaft des Klosters Ölinghausen, nachdem sie sich mit Kaspar Beyinckhaus, dem Schulten zu Mimberg verheiratet hatte. Vom Landdrosten Graf zu Solms hatte sie vorher ihren Freibrief erhalten. (Ebd.Reg.Arnsberg, Domänenregister Fach 272, Nr.11)
