Notes for this person
Alternate birth year 1854.

Immigration: SS. Southwark, sailing from Antwerp Oct 27, 1900, arriving Port of New York, Ellis Island; travelling to nephew Josef Keller (and Carl Fischer) in Abildren of Johann Fischer and Rosina nee Baumstark Fischer and I keep finding oooodles of Fischers! For researchers of Fischer and Keller out there I found this New York Passenger List; arrival 8 Nov,1900 interesting. Departure was from Antwerp, Belgium and all these people were from SELZ and they all listed JOSEF KELLER, Aberdeen, SD, as their sponsor. (Vessel Southwark) Maybe someone can fitthem into their families.

ANTON FISCHER, 44, (born about 1856, probably Selz) and his wife, BRIGITTA, 39; children-Johannes, 18 (born about 1882); Sebastian, 11; Andreas, 10; Stephan(?), 9;Eva, 17; Rosa, 5; Katherine, 3; Ludwig, 1/2. This family shows up again on the 1910 US Fed. Census at Hall, Perkins County, SD; 1920 US Fed. Census for Aberdeen, Brown County, SD; 1930 US Fed. Census in Aberdeen, Brown County, SD; 1940 US Fed Census for Aberdeen, SD with his daughter, Eva Gisi (Giese?) and her family. (But, I still don’t know who Anton’s parents are.)

JOSEF FISCHER, 32, (born about 1868, probably Selz) and his wife CHRISTINE, 26; children-Franz, 3 1/2; Anton, 2 1/2; Johann, 1/2, born 1900.

JOSEPH KELLER, 43 (born about 1857, probably Selz) and his wife JOSEFINE (?), 40; children-__(?) son, 11; Maria, 19; Theresia, 16; Magdalena, 15.

Mary Bueling

-------
