Suhr of Fremont and Mr. Clarence Clouse of Colon were united in marriage on Sunday afternoon at 5 o&rsquo;clock at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Omaha, the Rev. Hugo Welchert officiating. She grew up on a farm near Wayne. After attending Wayne State College, she taught school for three years in Wayne County. </span></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>She married Oswald Suhr Feb. 10, 1926 at Wayne. After her marriage, the couple lived on a farm near Uehling for 31 years. He died Sept. 17, 1959. After her husband Oswald's death, she moved to Fremont in 1960. She was employed at the former Safeway Grocery Store and at the Fremont Area Medical Center. She then married Clarence D. "Buck" Clouse Jan. 19, 1964 at Omaha. The couple lived on a farm near Colon until moving back to Fremont in 1971. She had been residing at the Good Samaritan Center in Scribner since August 2000. She was a member of Presbyterian Church at Fremont and United Presbyterian Women; Mariner's Club; Fraternal Order of Eagles 200 Auxiliary; A.A.R.P. and R.E.A.C.T. </span></span></p> <p class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 0pt;"><span style="font-size: 11pt; color: black;"><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Survivors include: two daughters, Nadine (Mrs. Russel) Johnson of Scribner and Norma Lee Helgenberger of Fremont; six grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, DeLoris Clouse of Lincoln. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, five infant brothers and sisters, three sisters and a great-grandson. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian Church in Fremont. The Rev. Stephen J. Brownlee will officiate. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 9 tonight at Moser Memorial Chapel and one hour prior to service at the church. Burial will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, north of Hooper.
