<p>JOHN MOGCK</p><p>PARKSTON - John Mogck 83, died Wednesday in the Good Samaritan Home in Parkston.</p><p> Mr. Mogck was born Dec. 26, 1881, near Olivet.</p><p> He married Pauline Tiede, May 27, 1915 near Parkston.</p><p> They farmed near Olivet and retired into Parkston, in 1948.</p><p> His wife died in 1968.</p><p>Survivors include two sons, Gilbert, Sioux Falls, and Roland, Parkston, two daughters: Mrs. LaVerne (Bernice) Radel, Olivet: and Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy) Neth, ScotlanD: 10 grandchildren: 14 great-grandchildren: two brothers: Emil, Tripp: and Rudolph, Parkston: and two sisters: Mrs. Natalie Baltzer, ScotlanD: and Mrs. Walter Hoffmann, Beresford.</p><p>Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in United Church of Christ, Parkston. Burial will be in Parkston Cemetery.</p><p>Visiting will be from 12 to 9 p.m. today in Hanson Funeral Home in Parkston.</p><p>JOHN MOGCK</p><p>Funeral services for John Mogck were held Saturday, March 30, 1985, at10:30a.m. at Salem United Church of Christ, Parkston, with Rev. Theodore Bader officiating. Interment was made in Parkston Protestant Cemetery with Hasson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.</p><p>Casketbearers were Steven Neth, Gary Radel, Stanley Mogck, Michael Neth, Mark Radel and Dr. Sam Heth.</p><p>John Mogck was born in Hutchinson County, S.D., near Olivet on December 26, 1891, to Joseph and Salome (nee Leischner) Mogck.</p><p>John and Pauline Tiede were united in marriage at the Zion Congregational Church near Parkston on May 27, 1915. The couple farmed near Olivet until retiring into Parkston in 1948. Mrs. Mogck died in 1968.</p><p>Mr. Mogck died at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Parkston on Wednesday, March 27. He attained the age of 93 years, three months and one day.</p><p>Survivors include his two sons, Gilbert Mogck of Sioux Falls and Roland Mogck of Parkston: two daughters, Mrs. LaVerne (Bernice) Radel of Olivet, and Mrs. Elmer (Dorothy) Neth of ScotlanD: two brothers, Emil Mogck of Tripp and Rudolph Mogck of Parkston: two sisters, Mrs. Natalie Baltzer of Scotland and Mrs. Walter Hoffman of Beresford: ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.</p>Besides his parents and wife, he has been preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, one infant son and one great-grandson.
