Huépil 23 febrero 1919 (var. diciembre 1918), + Puerto Montt, 27 marzo 1983, sepultado Frutillar; estudió en la escuela de Grumetes de la Armada (Isla Quiriquina); cuando joven practicaba el fútbol y el básquetbol; trabajaba en el Banco del Estado en Concepción, ciudad dondeconoció a su futura esposa; ya casados vivieron en la casa de su padre y después se trasladó a la zona de Frutillar para trabajar en el campo de su suegro Rodolfo Hebel, a quién adquirió luego la propiedad; se dedicó principalmente a la crianza de vacas, ya que las tierras eran pobres para uso agrícola; durante un tiempo (circa 1955) estuvo en Chonchi, Chiloé, ayudando a su suegro a salir adelante con su fábrica de chuño; era un excelente mecánico autodidacta que desarmaba y reparaba toda clase de maquinaria; a pesarde no poseer una educación universitaria, era un hombre culto e informado al que le gustaba mucho leer, y era además un gran conversador, como su padre; c. 21 abril 1944 c. Margarita Hebel Weil [n. Huiscapi, 08 febrero 1920, + Osorno 11 noviembre 1992].</span></p>
