Ewo verlor seine Burg zu Westerhusen 1436 an Edzard Cirksena, der sie abtragen ließ.
Liward (Liuward) Syrtza muß Ansprüche auf den Herd Ewos zu Westerhusen gehabt haben.
Ritter und Ramm nennen (nach v. d. Apelle) als Ewos Frau die Tochter von Liuward Itzingha (Abdena), van Lengen nennt Ocka, Dodo Kenisnas Tochter.
Laut Ramm führte er einen Löwen im Wappen.
