Nach Schreiber ist nicht klar, ob seine 1. Frau tatsächlich eine Tyrling war!
Er besaß ein Haus zu Norden. 1552 wird er zusammen mit seinen Geschwistern als Teilerbe des Hero (Gherldesna?) zu Woltzeten genannt.
Goemann und van der Wall nennen seinen Vater Manne Tjarken; dem widerspricht Schneider, der hier gefolgt wird.
