Das Haus des Hajo Uncken und seit 1599 auch das Haus der Familie Hane aus beiden Leeraner Burgen besaß jeweils Stimmrecht bei den landständischen Versammlungen der ostfriesischen Ritterschaft.
1563 kaufte er Haus und Warf von Wessell Fyens zu Stapelmoor.
