He was born November 3, 1925 to Charlie H and Louise Beckman Himly in the Peters Community. In 1946 he married Irene Hillboldt in Sealy, Texas. Clarence is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and William Hegemeyer of Cat Spring; three granddaughters Lisa and Dwayne Bilski of Cat Spring, Shirley and Michael Biehunko of Cat Spring and Sherry and Ray Menke of Cat Spring; great-grandchildren Meagan Bilski, Morgan Menke, Shane Bilski, Makenzie Menke, Blake Biehunko and Brooke Biehunko; a sister Annie Ashorn of Sealy. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was the owner and operator for twenty five years of the Crossroad Tavern. He loved to deer hunt. He was a charter member of the Millheim Harmony Hall, also of the Polka Lovers Klub of America, member of St. John Lutheran Church, Austin County Game and Fish Organization, Cat Spring Volunteer Fire Department and 100 Club. Clarence also loved to bar-b-que. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and wife Irene Hillboldt Himly.
