He had been an invalid for several years and was confined to his home much of the time. He was in former years a brewer in the employ of the Theobald Brewing company of this city and attained a wide acquaintance through his skill in this particular line of business. He is survived by his wife and four children: Mrs Charles Rau, Titusville; Mrs Edward Leasgang, Pleasantville; William Nonneman (sic), New Martinsville, W Va; [and] Mrs George Smith, Ramoa, Okla. Deceased was a member of the local lodge of Harugaris. Arrangements for the funeral had not been completed last night."
