She was born on November 15, 1912, at East St. Louis, IL, to the late Harry D. and Kate Bridges. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph E. Condon, her brother, Harry D. Bridges, Jr., sister, Marguerite Bringaze, and brother-in-law, Herbert T. Condon. Catherine was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Benton, a loving wife, and a homemaker. Survivors include her brother, Paul Leroy Bridges and his wife June of Corpus Christi, TX; brother-in-law, Ralph Condon of Fairview Heights, IL; sister-in-law, Marybelle Mites of O'Fallon, IL; nieces and nephews, Margaret Thompson, Karen Robbins, Marjorie Kay Schutt, Tim Condon, Lorraine Rice, Paul D. Bridges, and Diane Price, and special longtime friends, Gordon and Betty Kempf and their wonderful family of Hot Springs Village, AR. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, January 5, 2005, in the Roller-Ballard Funeral Chapel with Dr. Rick Grant officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park at Alexander. Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. until service time. Pallbearers are Stanley Kempf, Thomas Kempf, James Milum, Bobby Dusek, David Mason, and Steve Cross. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, 211 South Market St., Benton, AR 72015 and/or Saline Memorial Hospice.
