Burial will be in Clarkson Cemetery beside her husband. Alma was born in Clarkson, Texas, to the late Adolph and Frieda Schuetze Schulz. Alma grew up on a farm and married Louis Fredrich Miller on July 9, 1937. They farmed all their lives and Alma spent much time working in the cotton and corn fields and canning vegetables from their garden. In her earlier years, Alma played the accordion and harmonica (self-taught). She always looked forward to Christmas because that was the time she baked a variety of her wonderful cookies and special fruitcakes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis, in 1989; older sister, Dora Schulz Chollett; Dora’s infant twin sister, Nora; brother-in-law, Arthur Chollett; and son-in-law, Milton Charanza. Survivors include her daughters, Geraldine Lindeman and husband, Raymond, and Roberta Wilkerson and husband, Richard; granddaughters: Angela Burlin, Annamarie Wilkerson and special friend, Joshua Kidd, and Kathleen May and husband, Shawn; grandson, Steven Charanza and wife, Carmen; great-grandchildren: Cherise Stevenson and husband, Matt, Casandra Charanza, Colt Charanza, and Justin Burlin; great-great grandchildren: Brayden Charanza, Clara Stevenson, and Jackson Stevenson; special nieces and nephews: Velma Spicak, Dorene Brock, Lee Ray Chollett and wife, Louise, and Lester Chollett; other relatives and many friends.
