Born in Apex, N.C., she was the daughter of the late George and Ola Smith Reushling. She was also preceded in death by a son, Terry Pendergraft and a granddaughter, Jackie Pendergraft. A member of Brogden United Methodist Church, she was retired after 24 years from R. G. Barry Corp. and was a member of the Home Demonstration Club. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brogden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Shirley Acker Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park. Ms. Pendergraft is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Mike Demby of Charlotte, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Pendergraft of Dud-ley; one grandson, Mark Pendergraft; a great-granddaughter, Krystal Pendergraft; special friend, Gwen Jones of Dudley, and a special friend and caretaker, Jo Musick of Dudley. A special thank you to the staff of Britthaven of Goldsboro and Community Home Care and Hospice. Family members will greet friends Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at Brogden United Methodist Church and at other times at the home of Peggy Pendergraft, 122 Fulton Road, Dudley, N.C.
