Daughter of Walter and Patsy Krausgrill, wife to Paul Gissel, and mother to Kristin Beasley and Liz Dalton. Carol passed away in the early morning of Sunday, May 20, 2018. Carol was a faithful wife, sweet mother, adored Nanny, loyal sister, and a beloved aunt. She was also known as an avid tennis player, fierce needle pointer, and a world traveler. Her true passion was within helping others, whether it be with her intense organizing skills, preparing others for life events, or making them feel loved. Carol grew up in California, but her love of skiing and snow lead her to Northern Arizona University, where she settled to make Arizona her home for the past 52 years. Carol fought a hard battle against Leukemia, and was taken too soon. Carol is survived by her husband, Paul Gissel; daughter, Kristin (Joe) Beasley; daughter, Liz (Matt) Dalton; six grandchildren; brother, Kevin (Cindy) Krausgrill, sister, Joan Krausgrill, and brother, Terry (Lyndia) Krausgrill. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, May 25, 2018 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 6180 W Utopia Rd, Glendale, AZ 85308. Heritage Funeral Chapel
