Aus Find A Grave: Ethel Mae Brown Lawson GEBURT 24 Mai 1940 Oregon, USA TOD 14 Okt 2020 (im Alter von 80) Missouri, USA BESTATTUNG Center Point Cemetery Spring Grove, Dallas County, Missouri, USA GEDENKSTÄTTEN-ID 224749099 Ethel Mae Lawson died at the age of 80 on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. She was born in Oregon on May 24, 1940, to A.D. and Lova Brown. When she was 20 years old, Ethel married her love, Dale Gideon Lawson. The two recently celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary. Ethel lived Christ’s calling to love others and accept them unconditionally. She treated each person she encountered with kindness and respect. She had an endearing giggle, a twinkle in her eye, long red nails, and a sparkly bug pin on her left shoulder. She cherished her family, and was a beloved mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandma, teacher, mentor, pastor’s wife, and friend. Ethel loved jewelry, sweets, laughing, Christian romances, and sitting around the dinner table talking. She loved telling the same stories, again and again, to make sure her children and grandchildren knew they had been loved and cherished since before they were born. Ethel’s real joy was family. She took great delight in being an aunt to her many, many nieces and nephews. She really knew, loved, and cherished every single family member. Ethel had a gift for love and she gave it lavishly. She will be missed. We thank God for her life, her love, and the precious legacy she leaves behind: Love Jesus, love others, and hold tight to family. Laugh when you can and don’t complain. Read your Bible, eat dessert first, and never, never miss the chance to add a little bling. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons, Arlen (Lucy) and Jeffrey (Relyn); six grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Her siblings are Robert Brown, Elaine Hinds, Raymond Brown, Evelyn Geddis, and Ellen Lawson. Visitation was held Friday, October 16, 2020, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home, 2001 West Walnut Lawn, in Springfield, Missouri. A funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020, at First Baptist Church, 1006 Main Street, in Buffalo, Missouri, with Pastor Andy Hassen officiating. Burial followed at Center Point Cemetery in Dallas County, Missouri. Familienmitglieder Eltern Photo A. D.
