TOD: "OBIT" Blasius Riederer - from Mrs Agnes Birringer 2/91 Blasius Riederer, 97, of Park Lawn Nursing Home, Manitowoc, died Saturday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc and at 11 a.m. at St Mary Catholic Church, Clark Mills. The Rev. Leander Nickel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mr Riederer was born May 29, 1875, in the town of Cato, son of the late Thomas and Theresa Schmidt Riederer. He married Mary Pritzl, Oct 11, 1897, at St Mary Catholic Church. His wife preceded him in death Sept 14, 1943. He owned and operated a farm in the Town of Cato until his retirement. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St Mary Catholic Church. Survivors include five sons, Bernard and August of Manitowoc, John of Whitelaw, Edward of Clark Mills and Robert of Two Rivers. Three Daughters; Mrs Edward (Theresa) Wallander of Rt 2, Reedsville, Mrs Edward (Mary) Remiker of Cato and Mrs Harold (Leona) Lemberger of Whitelaw; 25 grandchildren, 85 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 o'clock this Monday afternoon where memorial service will be held at 8 o'clock by the Holy Name Society and friends.
