TOD: OBIT of Barbara Tuschl in MHTR - from Agnes Birringer 12/95 Mrs Barbara A Tuschl, 92, of 1836 Belmont St Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 9:45 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, and 10:30 a.m. St Mary Catholic Church, Clark Mills. The Rev Leander Nickel will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs Tuschl, nee Barbara A Pritzl, was born Oct. 7, 1879, daughter of the late Michael and Katherine Koerner Pritzl. She was married to John Tuschl, Sr., May 13, 1901, at Clark Mills. They resided in Clark Mills until 1943 when they moved to Manitowoc. He preceded her in death April 15, 1947. She was employed at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, for 16 years until her retirement in 1959. She was a member of St Mary Catholic Church Christian Mothers Altar Society. Survivors include six sons; Roman, of Rt 4, Manitowoc, John Jr., of Manitowoc, Anthony of Rt 1, Cato, Joseph of Madison, and George and Leon of Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs Gerald (Fern) Esser of Los Angeles, Calif., a sister, Mrs John Meyer of Medford, Wis.; 21 grandchildren and 43 great grand-children. Three sons, two daughters, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday where a wake service will be held at 8 p.m.
