HAVANA, IL - Nina M. Leiding, 77, of 327 N. Broadway died at 4:34 a.m.Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, at St. John's Hospice in Springfield, ILlinois.
Born Oct. 19, 1919, in Bishop to John H. and Wilhelmina Wiemer Kastendick, she married Melvin H. Leiding on April 3, 1945, near Bath, Illinois. He died Sept. 2, 1995.
Surviving are one son, Marvin of Havana; two daughters, Reba Leiding ofWest Sand Lake, N.Y., and Mrs. Norman (Cheryl) Korth of Stockton; twobrothers, Arnold Kastendick and Harold Kastendick, both of Havana; fivesisters, Lorene Fanter, Mrs. Louis (Berna) Fanter, Mrs. Adolph (Verna)Nordhausen and Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) Rayburn, all of Havana, and Edna Herrmann of Chandlerville; and three grandchildren.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church near Bath.
Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
