Sylvia graduated from UNL in social work, which she practiced in largepart at Denver General Hospital until 1989 when she retired. She spentmost of her adult life in Denver where she developed a vast network offriendships through her work, teaching, and travel. Sylvia traveled theworld and collected many items, including Fiestaware. She was an avidreader, passing on her passion through the construction of the new library in Syracuse.
