Notes for this person
Mr. Pfingsten was a member of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Woodworth and attended Custer Lutheran Fellowship in Custer, SD. He served inthe U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1965-1967 and later became alifetime member of the VFW of Illinois, South Dakota, and Colorado. Leswas a volunteer worker for Custer State Park as well as worked at Shapiro Development Center in Kankakee for a few years. He enjoyed reading,crossword puzzles, racing quarter horses, spending time in the westernpart of the United States, and helping with the buffalo at Custer State Park.
Burial will be in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Woodworth with graveside military rites by the Watseka American Legion Post #23 and Iroquois County VFW Post #7450.
