Bernice V. Bohlmann, 97 of Watseka passed away on December 20, 2021 atFaith Place in Danforth. She was born on December 8, 1924 in Milford adaughter of Walter and Elma (Schroeder) Pfingsten. Bernice married Franklin L. Bohlmann in Woodworth on November 5, 1944 and he preceded her in death on April 17, 1998. Survivors include one daughter- Claudette Gagnon of Flagler Beach, FL; one son-Jeffrey (Carla) Bohlmann of Brandywine, MD; three grandchildren-Chad (Valerie) Gagnon, Stacey (Roland) Oliva, and Kristen (Sean) Cox; five great- grandchildren; two sisters- Evelyn Brutlag of Danforth and Marilyn ZumMallen of Watseka; two brothers-Kenneth (Linda) Pfingsten of San Angelo, TX and Leon Pfingsten of Watseka. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Bernice was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka, Ladies Guild, and Lutheran Women's Missionary League. She was a proof reader at Uarco for 27 years, enjoyed traveling, and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross.
Private funeral services will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church in Watseka with Rev. Aaron Uphoff officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Calvary Preschool or Prairieview Lutheran Homein Danforth.
Arrangements are by the Baier Funeral Home in Watseka.
