Paul was born June 29, 1918 in Ash Grove Twp., the son of Rennig and Mary Tiarks Cluver. He married Jeanette Nielson on September 28, 1941 inWoodworth and she preceded him in death on June 10, 1992. He later married Marian Bleich on August 7, 1994 in Watseka and she survives. He isalso survived by one daughter, Paulette (Jim) Harkins of Gilman, two sons, Dan (Ellen) Cluver of Watseka and Steven (Karen) Cluver of BoulderCity, NV; two step-daughters, Karen (Dean) Storm of Ashkum and Beth (Mike) Warren of Watseka; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; nine brothers; five sisters; one step-son; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Mr. Cluver proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II where heserved in all five major battles in Europe. He was a member of CalvaryLutheran Church in Watseka and Watseka American Legion Post #23. He was employed as a petroleum salesman with Farm Service and Meier Oil forforty-six years.
