Notes for this person
Dylan Ridenour Obituary Dylan Isaac Ridenour, 22 years old, of Wapakoneta, passed at his residence on the afternoon of June 8th, 2024. Dylan was born to Dana (Blackburn) Ridenour and Kevin Ridenour on August 17th, 2001, at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. Dylan is survived by his mother, and two sisters, Ella Rae Ridenour and Lily Marie Ridenour. Grandparents included Diana Blackburn, Dennis Blackburn, Aleta "Maw Maw" Ridenour, and grandfather, Larry Davis. Other survivors include an uncle, Raymond Blackburn, a niece, Rayna Blackburn, and nephews, Will and Micheal "Mikey" Blackburn, and his beloved dogs Brutus, Chewy, and Bane. Other survivors include close family friend, Yvonne Cook. He is preceded in death by his father, Kevin Ridenour, and grandfather, Larry Davis. Dylan was a kind and gentle soul. He never knew a stranger and would drop everything to do anything for anyone. He truly was a people person and loved to take walks downtown with his beloved dog, Brutus. He loved spending time with his sisters, his grandmothers, especially his best friends, Harley Andrew Mullins, Izabelle Domynique Eyerly, and Isayah-Zae Johnsman. His hobbies and interests included playing video games, especially anything Sonic the Hedgehog related, shared a love of Star Wars, and watching horror flicks with his father. He also was a foodie, sharing that love with his mother, and would take any chance he could to try out a new dish or establishment. Dylan most recently worked at Plastipak at Jackson Center and had a large past work family at J. Maries Woodfired Grill, who will miss him dearly. A celebration of life will be held at the American Legion Post #330 Annex, 214 South Wagner Street, Wapakoneta, on Friday, June 21st, 2024 from 3:30-8 pm. Memorial contributions can be made to the family at this time, with future hopes of establishing a memorial fund in Dylan's honor. Arrangements are under the direction of Eley Funeral Home & Crematory, Wapakoneta, where condolences may be expressed at www.eleyfuneralhomeandcrematory.com.
