OTTENS war ein Vollhof zu Helvesiek auf dem er 1604 als Vollhöfner imPflugschatz genannt wird. 1599, 1600 im Michaeliszinß, 1600 im Immenzehnt, 1578 dann 1590, 1592, 1592,93, 1599 mit den höchsten Abgaben (=reichste in dem Jahr) im Schmalzehnt, 1587/88 und 1600 im Geld- und Kornregister genannt. Er selbst wird von RÖTENSHOF in OTTENHOF eingeheiratet haben .
