In dem Buch von Keith Dull " Early German Settlers of York Country Pennsylvania " Seite 337 erscheint folgender Beitrag über ihn: " Lorentz born about 1756, and was fined in 1777, for refusing military training. He served as a Private in the Revolutionary War in Captain John Ehrman"s Company, 7th Battalion (1777-1780). He remained with this unit, when it became Captain Henry Ferree"s Company. 5th Battalion, in 1780-1782. He was tried and aquitted administered in Shrewsbury Township on Ja. 29, 1830 ".
