Heinrich ZIRKEL

The Lutheran Heinrich Zirkle was the son of Johann Lofenius Zirckel and Catharina Hirzel. He immigrated with his family, including his parents, to Philadelphia Co., PA during 1725. Heinrich married Eva Euphrosina Rezin during 1699 in Ittlgen, Heidleberg, Baden, Germany. They had 6 children they named: Johann "John" Heinrich, Han Martin, Eva Margaretha, Johann "Lewis" Ludwig, Anna Maria and Eva Rosena Zirkle. April 2013 Burial Comments - Betsy Snook from the Little Zion Lutheran Church Johann Ludwig Zirkle donated the land for the church and cemetery called the "Little Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery" (Indianfield Graveyard) in Montgomery Co., PA. However; upon his death he was buried along with his father in the Fuhrman Cemetery which was located at GPS 40 19 19.69 N 75 20 49.36W - Very near the Little Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery. Fuhrman Cemetery is no longer in existence. It seems that the cemetery was eventually plowed into farmland and there is now a housing development located on the site. Some of the markers from the old Fuhrman cemetery have shown up for sale. The Little Zion Church has acquired some of these markers and have put them together in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.
