Folgender Hinweis am 6/29/1898 in der Indiana County Gazette page 4: Peter Roser, one of the oldest and most respected residents of Mechanicsburg, died on last Wednesday, of dysentery at the age of 79 years. He formerly followed the occupation of a farmer, but for a number of years has been leading a retired life. He is survived by his wife and five children; Mrs. McClusky, of Pittsburg; John, of Dubois; Joseph, of Pittsburg, and George and Samuel, of Mechanicsburg. Interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery, Brushvalley township. Burial: Brush Valley Lutheran Cemetery, Brush Valley, Indiana County,Pennsylvania
