Along with her husband and several members of her Brown family she migrated from North Carolina to Ohio about 1820. She and John were parents of: Mary, Jacob, Elizabeth, Jane, John, Henton, Nancy, Austin, Solomon, Margaret, Sarah & Henry Hoppes. She and John lived many years of their lives in Fayette Co, OH. She died while visiting her son John Hoppes, Jr in Jay Co, Indiana. she was my 5 great grandmother through her daughter Mary "Polly" Taylor nee Hoppes. Submitted by FAG member Ray Vick
