Alice (Hickman) O'Keefe, a native of Danville, Illinois, died on October 21 while in a Wakefield nursing home after a brief illness. She had been a resident of Melrose for over 20 years and was 90 years old. She had belonged to the Highlands Congregational Church in Melrose. She was the widow of Frank J. O'Keefe and mother of Constance O. Maloney of Watertown and Irene O. Plumer of E. Patchogue, New York. She was the sister of Robert Hickman of Phoenix, Arizona, and leaves 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Services are being held tomorrow, October 24, at 10 a.m. at the Melrose Highlands Congregational Church, 355 Franklin St. Relatives and friends are invited. Rev. Frederic Brightman will officiate. Services are being arranged by the Robinson Funeral Home, 809 Main Street. MELROSE FREE PRESS, 23 Oct. 1986.
