Delois Elaine ALBERT

Published in The State Journal-Register on July 22, 2011: Delois Elaine Zahn, of Rochester, passed away at 9:40 am on Wednesday, July 20, 2011. She was born on April 1, 1936 in Golden, IL and was the fourth child of Edward and Minnie (Mueller) Albert. She spent the next 17 years growing up in small town U. S. A. On October 3, 1953, Lois married Hugo Clair Zahn. They had three children, Michael, Joyce, and Cathy. She was devoted to her family and her greatest pleasure in life was time spent with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hugo, two brothers, Elmer and Robert Albert and grandson, Eric Baker. She is survived by her children, Michael (Jacki) Zahn, Joyce (Leon) Baker, Cathy (Terry) Hunter, grandchildren, Steven and Jessi Zahn, Melissa and Jacob (Stephanie) Hunter, great-grandchildren Emma and Hugo Hunter, sisters, Catherine (Edward) Bienhoff, 0llie Wellman, Mabel Gerdes, Mary Hahn and brother Jim (Becky) Albert. Visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Rochester, IL on Saturday, July 23, 2011, from 9:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in memory of Lois Zahn to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church,Rochester, IL. Wilson Park Funeral Home in Rochester is handling arrangements.
