Van Wert, O., Jan 13 Miss Viola M. Zirkle, 47, formerly of Van Wert, died early today at the Memorial Hospital in Lima. Miss Zirkle had been dietician at the hospital for 14 years. She served in the same capacity at the Van Wert County Hospital before going to Lima. Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Clara Zirkle of Lima; a sister, Mrs. E. W. Davies of Van Wert and two brothers, Paul of Venedocia and Samuel G. Zirkle of Defiance. Funeral services will be held at Lima Monday afternoon. The body will be brought to Van Wert for burial in Woodland Cemetery. Journal-Gazette, Allen County, Indiana; January 14, 1940
