Mary Ann COSANELLA

Mary Ann Zirkle, 90, of McKeesport, died Thursday, Nov. 27, 2014, at Sycamore Estate in Duquesne. She was born March 9, 1924, in McKeesport, a daughter of the late Carmen and Anna Tardia Cosanella. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Haskell Joseph Zirkle, and brothers and sisters. A retired stock girl for various department stores, she had also worked for Barraducci Brothers. She was a member of St. Angela Merici Parish in White Oak and volunteered at Life Span. Surviving are her sons, Kenneth Allan Zirkle Sr., of Port Vue, and Larry Dale Zirkle, of McKeesport. Also surviving are four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Josephine Jackson, of Ohio, and Sarah Bracale, of McKeesport; nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport, PA 15132. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Angela Merici Church with the Rev. Kevin Dominik as celebrant.
