Ruth Mae Zirkle, 77, of Beverly Pike, Belington, died Sunday, April 10, in the Davis Memorial Hospital, Elkins, following a brief illness. She was born March 22, 1928, a daughter of the late Charles Burton and Ann Mae (Sandusky) Webster. On November 28, 1945, she was married to Armond U. Zirkle, who preceded her in death on April 25, 1987. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Cellene and Marvin Myers, with whom she made her home; one son and daughter-in-law, Cal and Phyllis Zirkle, Punkintown Community; one brother Donald Webster, Jacksonville, Fla.; four grandchildren, Todd Cole Myers, Nickolena Floyd, Nathan Patrick Zirkle and Brandice Danielle Zirkle; six great grandchildren, Amanda Haddix, Trinity Jordan Gray, Jade Nichole Myers, Marshall Ryan Hall, Hannah James Easton and Graylin MaKenzie Floyd; one special step-great grandchild, Tristan Stewart; two special friends, Pat Chenoweth and Trudie Reger, both of Belington. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Margo J'Nell Zirkle; by one grandson, Shawn Ray Myers and by two brothers, William E. Webster and Charles A. Webster. Mrs. Zirkle was a former clerk in the Belington Prescription Center, a former waitress and former public school cook. She was Roman Catholic and a member of Resurrection Mission in Belington and had formerly attended the First Baptist Church in Belington. (Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 15, at the Schoonover - Stemple Funeral Chapel, 609 Crim Avenue, Belington. Sister Teresa Reddington will officiate and interment will follow in the Mt. Union Cemetery.
