Johnny Ray ZIRKLE

Exponent Telegram (Clarksburg, WV ) - July 22, 2021: SHINNSTON, W.Va. — Johnny Ray Zirkle, 69 years of age, of Bridgeport, passed away July 14, 2021 unexpectedly at his home. He was born in Clarksburg, on December 23, 1951, a son of the late Bonnie (Baker) and Joseph Zirkle. He was also predeceased by a nephew, Michael Alan Talkington and other family members. John is survived by one sister, Sandra (Gary) Fain and four brothers: Ronnie (Barbara), Terry (Janet), Ted (Rhonda), and Jeff (Vicky). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He graduated from Lumberport High School and Fairmont State College. John enjoyed spending time with the children in his life, cooking for friends and family, gardening for himself and friends and caring for his dogs. He also took great pleasure in traveling with family. He will be sadly missed. The family would like to thank all of the friends he had through the years, his medical team and home health, and a heartfelt thanks to Kevin and Amy for helping John during his declining health. In keeping with his wishes, John has been cremated.
