She was predeceased by her parents, Guy Miller Reid and Edna Phillips Reid; her husband, Donald Lee Zirkle; an infant daughter, Teresa Adele Zirkle; a brother, Don "Donnie" Wayne Reid; and three sisters, Anita Reid Greene, Marlyn Ilene Reid Bowman, and Renna Reid. She was survived by two sons; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A service was held on Friday, April 5, 2019 at National Funeral Home Falls Church, VA. Interment originally scheduled for April 28, 2020, postponed to July 23, 2020.
