James Lee ARTHUR

James L. Arthur Sr, 80 of Medina, passed away Sunday, surrounded by his family. He was born Sept. 20, 1931 in Diana WVA to the late Oral P. and Anna (Cool) Arthur. He worked as machine repairman for General Motors for over 30 years. He served his country in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. He is survived by his son James L. (Gale) Arthur Jr., , daughters Cynthia Arthur, Brenda Arthur, and Cheryl (Joseph) Terepka, & son John P. (Julie) Arthur, all of Medina; dear grandfather of Michael Dunlevy Jr., Jessica Young, Jennifer, Stephanie, Christopher, Jeremy, Joshua, Jacob, Jamie (Urban), Derek Arthur & Jonathon; great grandchildren Samantha, Cody, Alexis, Marlena, and Michael III. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Marlene Rae Arthur in 2002 and sister Joyce Weber. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Waite and Son Funeral Home, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St. Funeral service will be at 12:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Rev. Randy K'meyer will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, OH. The family suggests contributions be made to Hospice of Medina County, 5075 Windfall Road, Medina or Crosspointe Church.
