Freda ADKINS

Freda (Adkins) Circle age 85, of Somerville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 in Woodland Country Manor, Somerville. She was born on February 14, 1929 in Oak Hill, Ohio, the daughter of Fenzie and Jessie Adkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Circle on July 20, 1997. George and Freda were married in Charleston, Missouri on April 15, 1951and enjoyed 47 ½ years of marriage. Freda retired from the Talawanda School District in 1988 after 31 years, where she had been a secretary for Somerville School, Marie Schmidt Elementary School and McGuffey School in Oxford. Freda is survived by her son, Fenzie Randall (Karen) Circle, Ellettsville, Indiana and daughter in law, Donna Circle, Somerville; five beautiful grandchildren, Sherri (Travis) Bowling, Amy (Steve) McIntosh, Jamie (Bill) Dougherty, Jason Circle and Heather (Jeremy) Vehslage; eighteen great grandchildren, Austin, Maci, Sophie, Sydney, Abby, Khloe, Madilynn, Rylee, William, Lillian, Alexis, Paige, Trinity, Kaitlyn, Dakota, Skyler, Ezra and Shiloh; many nieces, nephews, wonderful friends and relatives and her card buddies, Wanda Hammel, Jane Apfeld and Carolyn Garnett. Special thanks to Ashley Schmidt, Tina Flaig, Gail Toney, Fred Russell and all her caregivers. She was preceded in death by her son, David Jay Circle on December 21, 2013. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Weigel Funeral Home, 980 N. W. Washington Blvd. Burial will be in Darrtown Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 1 p.m. until time of the service.
