Notes for this person

Dear Henry, I started a reply to you this AM but the power went out for 3 1/2 hours so don't know what happened to the message. So I'll try again. Thank you for the generations pedigree. I have them back as you do, except you have given me added information on spouses and children that I didn't get. I have all 4 wives of Johann Jacob. I descend from the last one, through Gerhard Clemens b. 1843. Where did you find the information on the listed marriage of his?? Do you have a print out from the film? No one here ever knew he was married before. We are all from the marriage in Moscow Clermont Co., Ohio to Anna Sophia Christina Westendorf. This took place on March 1, 1886. A.S." Christina" was born 3 Dec. 1860 in Parkentin, near Doberan, Mecklenburg, Germany. I have her line back 3 generations and am presently reading films from there. Bottom of p. 2 of your printout--generation 2 Johann Gerhard Haermeyer b. abt. 1873---I have a print out from the film of his baptism record. 30 December 1872. Also when he married Maria Griese he was 35 and she was 18. Gen. 1 Anna Cath. Wessels-- on the marriage record of their son Johann Jacob to 3rd wife A.C. Puttemeier, her name was given as Euphemia Catherine gb Wessels. All others are as you have it. To add to your records you may want the following information on G.Clemens. He died 28 May 1910, Gibson Twp. Bay Co., MI p.2 gen 3. Johann Joseph H. b. 1837-- His baptism entry gives name as Johannes Jacobus = John Jacob, he died 29 April 1838 at 9am. Buried on 2 May 1838 aged 10m 19d. p.3 looking at the record printout of gen 2. Johann Hermann KLEINBEHRNS geb. Haermeier I think it should read KLEINBERNDS. Reading this old script is fun isn't it. Thank you again for your kindness. If you see the names on message board from Janice Casler, W.T. Sexton or myself we are all descendants of G. Clemens 1843-1910. Do you know anything about the Harmeiers out west? As the old story goes G. Clem, a carpenter, a sister Maria a Milliner by trade and a brother ?? a wagon maker, came to the USA they settled in Cincinati area but the brother was said to have gone to Minnesota. We have found many Harmeier, Harmeyer etc. in the Cinci area in the census but haven't proven anything. May I ask where you reside? I am in Oakland Co. MI- Farmington Hills. All for now.
