zeigte schon als Kind grosse Geistesanlagen und wurde zunächst vom Küster Althans in Rinteln unterrichtet, ab 16. Lebensjahr Studium der Medizin in Rinteln, später in Marburg, bei einem von Marburg aus gemachten Besuch in Wollmar fand er dort noch Abkömmlinge der alten Linie und wurde freundlich aufgenommen, 10.10.1801 Dr.med., ab 1804 Arzt in Obernkirchen, nach dem Tod vonProf. Dangers a.o. Professor für Medizin in Rinteln, 1818 Ehrenmitglied der Gesellschaft für Naturkunde in Marburg, Meister vom Stuhl der Loge "Wilhelm zum Nesselblatt", 1823 Kreisphysikus, 1841 an Zungendrüsenkrebs erkrankt
