Kathryn K. Sullivan

Kathryn K. Kitty Sullivan, 101, died Jan. 21, 2005, in Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the widow of Samuel D. Butz and Charles Sullivan. Born Nov. 17, 1903, she was a daughter of the late Abraham L. and Sarah (Clark) Knauss. She was a member of Episcopal Church of the Mediator, Allentown. She was an executive officer with the American Red Cross, Allentown, during World War II. She served on the board of directors for the Allentown Symphony and the former Civic Little Theatre. She was a member and past president of the Allentown Womens Club and a leader in the Allentown Hamilton Mall renewal project in the early 1970s. Survivors: Son, Robert J.K. Butz of Fleetwood; granddaughters, Kathy Butz Jacoby of Allentown, Margaret Butz Dennis of Lansdale, Susan Butz-Stavin of Fleetwood; five great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren. Services: memorial, 11 a.m. Wednesday, Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton streets, Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the American Red Cross, 2200 Avenue A, Bethlehem 18017.
