<p style="text-align: left;" dir="ltr">"Eric Michael Eyman, age 73, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, July 7, 2016 in his home in Bothell, Washington after a three year battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born on October 21, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles and Pauline (Naegele) Eyman, the oldest of three children. <br /><br />Eric grew up in Vermilion, Ohio were hecollected stamps and enjoyed ice skating on the frozen canals in the winter. Eric attended Ohio State University for his freshman year of college in 1959. Eric then served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963 and was based in Germany as a Communications Specialist. After leaving the military Eric attended San Francisco State University from 1963 to 1968 where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting. Eric graduated from college with honors from the Fraternity of Beta Gamma Sigma in recognition for high scholastic achievement. He met his wife Colleen Dorothy Kearns in college and they married in 1970.<br /><br />He served most of his career, 33 years, working for Dow Jones Service as a Service Manager. After retiring from Dow Jones he also worked at AT&T Wireless and H&R Block as a tax specialist.<br /><br />He enjoyed cooking, biking, carpentry, genealogy research, and was involved in Irish Set dancing for many years. He loved to eat great food. Eric had a great sense of humor and loved bad puns. His favorite pastime was reading; he was often found with a thick novel nearby. Eric was very patient, kind, and always welcomed visitors into his home with an open heart. He loved the game of Trivial Pursuit, which he always won."<br /><br />Source: Becks Funeral Home</p>
