  SULLIVAN, EMMA EYMER - Emma Eymer Sullivan, 95, died after a long illness on Saturday, September 9, 2000, at Smith House Health Care. She was a Stamford resident for 34 years. She worked for the Stamford Red Cross, and she was a volunteer guide at the Stamford Arboretum. She belonged to the Roxbury Community Association and was a charter member of the Roxbury Swim and Tennis Club. She was a member of St. Paul‘s Lutheran Church in Rye Brook, NY and was a past president of the Metropolitan Synod, ELCA, of Lutheran Church Women. Survivors include her husband Merton B. Sullivan of Stamford. She was predeceased by her sister Margarethe Bedford, and a brother William Eymer. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2000 at St. Paul‘s Church, 761 Kings St. at Comly Avenue, Rye Brook, NY at 10:00 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to St. Paul‘s Lutheran Church, 761 King St. at Comly Ave., Rye Brook, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the charity of one‘s choice. The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home and Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, is handling the arrangements. Published: Thursday, September 14th, 2000
