Bürger in Ubstadt.
There were two families in Ubstadt at overlapping times with the husband Georg Schwander and the wife Katharina. In UBSOFB is stated that it is uncertain to which of these families the later Geinsheimer son FriedrichSchwander or other Schwander children belonged. Because of that, the vital information of the parents Georg and Katharina was listed as possibly incorrect. The other Georg Schwander was born about 1650 in Immenstadt and died in1720 in Ubstadt. The other Catharina Streicherin, the first wife of that Georg, died before 1720. His second wife, Regina Aberhartin, died 14 Jan 1727 in Ubstadt. The ambiguity of the two Georg Schwander families was resolved inUBSVOR on the basis of property and estate documentation from Ubstadt.
The identity of the older Georg Schwander in Ubstadt as the father of the younger is speculative; the birth years approximated in UBSVOR make this somewhat possible.
