William H Pagel 79, a resident of Sunnyridge Home, Sheboygan, died there at 1:20 p.m. Thursday. He was born September 2, 1893 in Milwaukee, a son of Richard and Martha Pagel, and the family moved to the town of Mitchell, Sheboygan Co, where he attended district schools. In October 1917 he married Ida Thalheim of the Town of Lyndon, Sheboygan County.
During World War I Mr. Pagel served with the Army. He was employed at various fur farms in Sheboygan County and moved there in 1955. In January 1970 the couple moved to Sunnyridge Home.
He was a member of Holy Name Church, Sheboygan and the Holy Name Society.Surviving are his widow, three sons, Victor of Campbellsport, Roger of Waukesha and Robert of Madison; a daughter, Mrs. Urban Brookshire of Independence, MO; 17 grandchildren; and a sister Mrs. Otto Thalheim of Plymouth. Two sisters and a brother preced Mr. Pagel in death. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Ballhorn Chapels, 1210 N Eight St. Sheboygan, and at 10 a.m. at Holy Name Church. The Rev. Laurence Waleski will officate and burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery at Plymouth.

Auf diesen merkwürdigen Umstand bin ich bei der (erfolgreichen) Suche nach den Vorfahren eines Amerikaners gestossen. Die vermutete Verwandschaft bestätigte sich zwar nicht, aber dennoch sind inzwischen viele Nachfahren dieser Allscheider Auswanderer zum Datenbestand hinzugekommen, so dass ich diesen hiermit zur Verfügung stellen möchte.
