Pretty Wedding is Held at Kiel, Thanksgiving Day

A very pretty wedding took place at the St. Peter and Paul Catholic church at kiel, Thanksgiving morning at 9:30 o'clock when Miss Clara Williams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adam Williams became the bride of Joseph N. Braun Jr., 1713 N Eleventh street, this city. The Rev. A Ronder read the nuptial high mass.

The bride was gowned in white satin crepe trimmed with Spanish lace and atulle embroidered veil arranged in a crown effect with rhinestones and orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of pink and white roses, lilies of the valley and pompons. Silver slippers and hose completed her attire.

Mrs. Philip Liebe, sister of the bride, was the matron of honor and wore a dress of orchid georgette. She carried a bouquet of carnations, sweetpeas and pompons. Mrs. John J. Williams and Miss Margaret Miller were the bridesmaids and Mrs. Willaims was gowned in green georgette, and Miss Miller in yellow georgette. Both carried bouquets of baby chrysanthemums, carnations and sweetpeas.

Philip Liebe was the best man and Nick Miller attended the bridegroom as groomsman. The wedding dinner, which followed the wedding ceremony wasserved at the home of the brides parents where the decorations were attractive in white, green, orchid and yellow. The out-of-town guests present were: Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Braun, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. Nick Braun and family, Leo Evens, Nick Niles, Mr. and Mrs. William Ellison of Sheboygan, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Braun and family of Kohler, Miss Margaret Miller of GreenBay, and Mr. and Mrs. Philip Liebe of Plymouth.

Title Allscheid-Auswanderer 1852
