Habe Roy Price zuerst nur als Marriage Record gefunden und konnte seine Braut nicht zuordnen. Später fand ich sein Obituary, was dann eine Familienzuordnung ermöglichte, weil in Obituaries die Hinterbliebenen genannt werden.

ROY PRICE Roy Kenneth Price, 31, of 1230 Johnson Branch Road, Parksville, died Sunday, March 28, 1999 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, from injuries received in an auto accident. Born September23, 1967 in Fayette County, he was the son of Helen Smith Price of Harrodsburg, and the late Buford Kenneth Price. He was a self employed painter and a member of the Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include: his wife, Patricia Gayle Schmiers Price, Parksville; maternal grandmother, Anna Smith, Lexington; paternal grandfather, Clarence Price, Junction City; two sons, Robert Kenneth and Brandon Lee Price, Parksville; one daughter, Tricia Marie Price, Parksville; five half brothers, Buford Price, Jr., Elmer, Gary,Stuart, and Fred Price, all of Indianapolis, IN; one sister, Joyce Michelle Price Durham, Harrodsburg; one half sister, Beverly Sue Stinnett, FL. Funeral services will be conducted at the Herrington Lake Pentecostal Church at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, with Bro. Hamp Wooten officiating. Burial will be in the Junction City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Griffin, Ronnie Gaddis, Mark Matherly, Kenny Baker, Larry Bottoms, Ricky Savage, Gary Price and Keith Smith. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday, and 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home, and after noon Friday at the church. (Apr 1, 1999) | |

Description | um 2009 veröffentlichte ich die erste Version meines Vorfahrenbaumes in GEDBAS. Heute 2014 kann man diese als überholt bezeichen und ersetzen durch die neue Version von 2014. Diese Datenbank enthällt möglichst alle Vorkommen von Schmiers weltweit in zwei großen Familiensträngen, die beide aus Westfalen stammen. Zusätzlich, wenn alles klappte, auch einige Streufunde, die noch nicht zugeordnet werden konnten. Mein Zweig stammt aus dem Kreis Steinfurt, ist in Westfalen ausgestorben und lebt als "sächsischer Zweig" weiter. Der andere große Strang stammt aus der Umgebung Cappenberg und hat zahlreiche Nachkommen in USA und Deutschland. In den vergangenen Jahren ist meine Forschung deutlich vorangeschritten. Beim Export hakte ich an "lebende Personen ausschließen". Hoffentlich vergaß ich bei keiner Person mit unbekanntem Todesdatum das Häkchen bei 'verstorben' zu setzen... Ich würde mich über Fragen zu diesen Familienbäumen freuen. |
