{\sl Anségise, domestique}; Gefolgsherr, 632 als Domesticus des austrasischen Königs Sigibert III. bezeugt (um 648). Wird von Gundewin vor 691 erschlagen. LdMA. Hlawitschka hat als Todesjahr 679. Nach dem Scheitern des Staatsstreiches von Grimoald mußten Ansegisel und Pippin behutsam ganz von vorn anfangen. Ansegisel schaffte es dabei selbst nicht mehr, zu größerer politischer Bedeutung zu gelangen. Er scheint in den siebziger Jahren einem Mordanschlag zum Opfer gefallen zu sein; Hlawitschka.
