Azzo I. von Mailand, Markgf. v. Ligurien, geboren um 972 (Religion: r.K.), gestorben um 1018 in Burg Giebichstein, urk. 1014-1029, folgte zu Genua und Tortona, wurde Markgraf von Mailand, Graf von Luni und Gavello, geriet 1014 mit seinem Bruder Hugo in die Gefangenschaft Kaiser Heinrichs II. und starb auf Burg Giebichenstein, während seinem Bruder die Flucht gelang. Sohn von Otbert II. von Mailand (siehe 5286) und Railenda von Piacenza (siehe 5287).
