Minnie M. Mulvihill, 94, Luverne, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005, at Mary Jane Brown Good Samaritan Center in Luverne.
Services were Wednesday, Oct. 26, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne. The Rev. Eugene Egan officiated. Burial was at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Ellsworth. Minnie Mulder was born to Dick and Jenny (Moerke) Mulder on Dec. 20, 1910, in Ellsworth.
She married Leo Mulvihill on Jan. 3, 1934, in Estelline, S.D. After their marriage they farmed in Magnolia Township for 34 years. They moved to Luverne in 1970. She moved to Mary Jane Brown Good Samaritan Center in 1998. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Mulvihill was a member of St. Catherine Catholic Church in Luverne.
Survivors include five children, Ron (Jeanne) Mulvihill, West Point, Neb., Barbara Priesz, Sioux Falls, S.D., David (Della) Mulvihill, Larry Mulvihill, all of Luverne, and Joan (Angelo) Radice, Colorado Springs, Colo.; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mulvihill was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leo Mulvihill, on Feb. 8, 1980, one grandchild, Kristian Mulvihill, in 1999, two infant siblings, one brother and six sisters.
